For players grinding through Embark Studios' extraction shooter, ARC Raiders, securing a reliable sidearm can make or break a high-stakes run topside. Among the early to mid-game must-haves, the Burletta pistol stands out. While you can find or purchase basic versions of this weapon, crafting your own high-tier variants requires the highly sought-after Burletta Blueprint.

Unlike standard loot drops that you can randomly scavenge from defeated ARC machines or weapon crates, this specific blueprint is locked behind player progression. Here is exactly how to unlock it, complete the associated challenge, and what to do if you find yourself empty-handed.

Unlocking the "Industrial Espionage" Quest
To get your hands on the Burletta Blueprint, you have to work your way through the trader questlines in Speranza. Specifically, you need to progress the missions offered by Tian Wen, the weapon and armor vendor.

After checking off early requirements—including the Eyes On The Prize mission—Tian Wen will hand you a quest titled "Industrial Espionage."

Step-by-Step Quest Walkthrough
When you accept the quest, Tian Wen provides you with a base-level Burletta I pistol. Your objective is not to shoot anything with it, but rather to drop it off into enemy hands to track their supply lines.

Equip Properly: Before you drop into the match, make sure the Burletta pistol is placed directly into your backpack inventory, not your active weapon slot. If you equip it as an active weapon, the game can occasionally bug out or strip any attached weapon mods when turning it in.

Head to the Buried City: Deploy into the Buried City map. You need to head to the northernmost edge of the map, specifically the Gas Station POI (Point of Interest) located in the Outskirts, just south of the Hospital.

Locate the Weapon Cache: The Gas Station is a notorious PvP hot zone, so approach carefully. Move past the main green gas station overhang and look for the large circular storage containers. Tucked between two tall platforms, near a partially buried vehicle and a blue bench, you will find a sand-camouflaged, rusted metal container. This is the rival weapon cache.

Stash and Bug: Interact with the cache to deposit your Burletta. Immediately move to the rear of the container and interact with it a second time to plant the tracking bug.

The moment the bug is planted, the quest officially registers as complete. You do not technically have to extract to finish the contract, though extracting successfully guarantees you keep any other hard-earned loot from the run.

Crafting Recipe and Economy
Once you head back to Speranza and turn the quest in to Tian Wen, she rewards you with the permanent Burletta Blueprint along with some starting materials. You can then head over to the Gunsmith bench to craft the pistol at will.

According to community database records on ARCTracker.io, manufacturing the sidearm requires a short list of standard components:

1x Burletta Blueprint (Reusable permanent unlock)

3x Mechanical Components

3x Simple Gun Parts

If you accidentally lose, sell, or recycle the initial pistol Tian Wen gave you before completing the mission, do not panic. You can buy a replacement base Burletta directly from her shop inventory for 8,700 ARC Raiders Coins to re-attempt the drop-off.

What to Do If You Lose the Blueprint
Because the Burletta Blueprint is a unique, one-time quest reward, it does not re-enter the random world-loot pool. If your account experiences a glitch, or if you accidentally wipe your stash and lose the blueprint entirely, the traditional game loops will not give you another one.

If you find yourself stuck, the player base has found a couple of ways around this barrier:

Expedition Resets: Some players utilize overarching account or campaign timeline resets to replay major trader arcs from scratch, allowing them to earn the quest rewards a second time.

The Player-Trading Loop: Because items can be physically dropped in-raid, an active secondary economy has formed around hard-to-find progression rewards. Players frequently connect on community hubs or third-party marketplaces to secure duplicate items. For console players trying to skip the 32-mission trader grind entirely, it's common practice to use external platforms like U4N to buy items from other veterans, allowing them to quickly buy arc raiders blueprints xbox or PC editions.

Once an exchange is arranged, you simply drop into a match together, your trading partner passes you the blueprint, and you instantly slide it into your Safe Pocket. Even if you get ambushed by a rogue squad or a swarm of ARC drones seconds later, items inside your Safe Pocket return to Speranza securely with you, letting you head straight to the Gunsmith bench risk-free.
